Open Enrollment 2022 Closed

Open Enrollment is now closed. Applications are received on a first come first serve basis every April. Applications will be reviewed in May and are accepted based on class size and ability to fulfill the student's special needs if required. Please feel free to contact Rachael Taylor if you have any questions. 

Reminder to bring:

  • A photo ID
  • Proof of residency (see below for acceptable proofs of residency)
    • and any of the following (if applicable):
  • current Student IEP and ETR  
  • current court paperwork referring to custody/guardianship

PROOF OF RESIDENCY

Proof of residency is required of all students registering at Canton Local and must be submitted to the school with the registration form.

Parents/Guardians must document residency by providing the school with TWO current (less than 3 months old) approved proofs of residency as listed below. PLEASE NOTE: Post Office Boxes and Cell Phone Bills have no Service Address and therefore are not accepted.

Acceptable Utilities: Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer, Cable/Internet. The utility bill must show the matching service and mailing address in the name of the Parent/Guardian.

Other Acceptable Documents: Monthly mortgage statement, lease/rental agreement (signed), pay stub, insurance statement, car payment statement, government agency letters, etc. with parent’s name and address.
