Mr. Moore All Call May 14, 2020

• All work must be completed and turned in by May 22, unless authorized by your teacher
• You will not have any semester or end of year exams
• Parents, grades can be seen on your student's Home Access Center
• Students you will keep your Chromebook for the summer
• Students you can pick up any items left in your school locker or drop off any school-related items on May 26, 27, 28 between 9a-11a and 1p-3p at Door 2.
• Parents, please make sure all students are checking their emails continuously throughout the end of the school year and summer for information regarding the 20-21 school year.  (Including 20-21 class schedules.)

Registration will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY beginning May 4.  Please call 330-484-8019 for an appointment to register your student for the 2020-2021 school year. 

ONLY ONE legal parent/guardian permitted, please do not bring your students with you.  Packets can be mailed or arranged for pick up. Complete the documentation at home and bring the forms and proper documentation with you to your appointment. New Open Enrollment applications will be accepted throughout the month of May 2020 on a first-come, first-serve basis.   The office opens at 8:00 AM, ONLY ONE legal parent or guardian to attend, no students, please.  Click for more detail

Meal service will continue this summer at Canton South HS drive-through style at Door #2. Wednesdays from 11am-1pm:

• June 3, 10, 17, 24
• NO SERVICE THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF JULY!
• Resumes July 15, 22, 29
• No August meals will be served due to the opening of the kitchens

Bridgepoint will be using a food truck to serve our meals at the same times at the following locations:

• Fohl Village from 11:00-11:20
• Vienna Woods from 11:30-11:50
• Waco Homecoming Grounds from 12:45-1:05
• Living Hope Church (off Trump Road) from 1:15-1:35

The truck will be titled "Connection Points" to connect with families in the community & provide Bridgepoint services as well.

On Thursday, February 27, 2020, Canton Local administrators, along with the architect/engineer, GPD Group, and CMR Beaver Constructors presented an update on the current design status of the new Canton South Middle School and proposed improvements to Faircrest Memorial Middle School.  Watch video here

This project is in partnership with the state’s Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and will be located just south of the high school on the same property, creating a middle-high campus. The new facility is slated to be completed for the start of the 2022-23 school year. 

Note: The district will not be asking for new funds (bond or operating) for the construction of the new school or the updates to Faircrest. The school is being built, and Faircrest renovated, with funds in part from public utility property tax revenue along with money from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). There will be a request for a renewal of an existing issue (no new taxes) in the spring of 2021.
